“More Afghan Women in Business” program at Polytechnic University!

Following the programs with universities, this time AWCCI held “More Afghan Women in Business” program for female students of Polytechnic University on Tuesday, June25, 2019. In this program, Ms. Afsana Rahimi, Chair of AWCCI, Ms. Sameera Sarwar, Ms. Nastaran Bina, and Ms. Freshta Sarwari, AWCCI board of Directors; Mr. Khowaja Mohammad Anwar Noori, Finance and operation deputy of Polytechnic University and 50 other female students participated.
At first, Ms. Afsana Rahimi provided a brief information about AWCCI and reviewed the agenda of the program. Afterwards, Mr. Noori thanked AWCCI for holding this program and added, “Students should be proactive and get benefit of existing opportunities in the country”.
As continued, the Master of Ceremony was Ms. Nastaran Bina and Ms. Sameera Sarwar delivered the presentation which discussed Entrepreneurship concept, an Employee and an Entrepreneur differences, an Entrepreneur characteristics, Inspiration sources and writing a business plan.
Afterwards, the program consisted of a panel of three successful businesswomen. The panelists for this program were Ms. Habiba Payendanek, President Qizil Company; Ms. Freshta Sarwari, owner of Shogofa Omed Kindergarten and Ms. Sameera Sarwar, President Sam and Shad non Alcoholic beverage Company.
The last part of the program was allocated for Networking between students and businesswomen and an exhibition of women products organized by AWCCI for students. Students not only bought from this exhibition, but also got more familiar to domestic products quality. In this exhibition, businesswomen products were from sectors like Clothing, and Jewelry.
